Moving right along... Boy is it nice to have the huge piles of dirt gone! They got a lot done in the past few days. They smoothed out all of the dirt, did the plumbing, the tile, and framed the deck. I can't wait to see how much they get done next week!

More t-ball pictures...
Getting some tips from Coach Sam.

She got a hit!

Getting a high five from Coach Sam's daughter who Anne thinks is too cool for words!

A day with Allison...

Practicing for picture day... It was picture day at Anne's school today so she wanted me to blow dry her hair and practice smiling. Hopefully they came out as cute as this one! She looks so much older to me with her hair done!

And then Allison wanted to practice for her picture day which is next week. Gee, I can't wait to get her pictures back.

Sunday night entertainment... Troy took Anne out to practice her catching and throwing. She is really getting good at throwing and can aim it really well. She has a good arm! We are working on catching the fly balls. She has been knocked in the head once or twice so she isn't always eager to run up on it. But she is working on it and getting better every night.

Then they moved on to gymnastics. They are working on perfecting their handstands and learning how to do the back bend/flip thingy that gives me a heart attack. I only let her practice in the grass because I can't stand the sound of her slamming her back onto the living room floor in the house. It scares the heck out of me.

Allison had to get in on the action as well!

This only looks dangerous on camera. She was actually just doing a backward roll.

Goofy girlies...

Rudy...We are coming up on our one year anniversary of having Rudy but it feels like he has been with us forever. He is such a great dog. So sweet and patient and such a total goofball that you can't help but just love him. I thought it was going to be a nightmare having the fence down while the pool was being done but he has been such a good boy about it. He listens so well and always comes when we call him back into the yard. He is so great with the girls and is still my little shadow but not in an annoying kind of way. We all just love him so much...even Troy though he would never admit it.

He is always a good subject when I'm playing with the camera.

Eventually he starts to get sick of it though.

See. This is the look I get when I know he's done posing for me.

Let the fun begin... So they started digging our pool on Tuesday. What a mess! But we can't wait for it to be done. Hopefully we will have a warm fall so the girls can get a few days of swimming in before it turns too chilly. As long as the weather holds up, they are hoping to have it finished in 4-6 weeks.

The girls love playing on the dirt piles.

Of course Rudy has to find the dirtiest place in the yard to lay down!

This is the life...
We were so happy to have Gammer, GG, Aunt Jen, and Melissa here for a visit!
Thanks to our dear friend Ed, we were able to spend the day at the country club pool and ocean club. We had a great time playing in the pool and the waves and were able to enjoy a yummy lunch with a wonderful ocean view. Everyone had a great time!

Playing in the waves...
It was an awesome day to be at the beach! There was a great breeze and some pretty good waves which Melissa and Aunt Jen just loved! It was a perfect day in Florida!
