Halloween party pictures... We had our big Halloween party with our playgroup on Friday and had a great time! Both the girls wanted to be witches this year. Unfortunately the cheapy costumes didn't hold up too well through the party and I think I may have to figure something else out for trick or treating on Tuesday. Ugh!

Hugging her tight this morning... because she scared me half to death today. Seriously. I think she took about 10 years off of my life. I woke up this morning as usual and got myself ready (everyone else was still asleep). After I came out of my room, I shut off the house alarm and took Rudy outside. Came back in to wake up Anne.I was dreading it because I thought it was going to be really hard to get her up since she was up until almost 10:00 pm last night. I go in and open her blinds and notice she isn't in her bed. I assume she got up and went into our bed while I was showering and I just didn't see here when I came out of the bathroom. Go in our room. No Anne. Go back to her room and pull back all the covers. I open her closet and search her entire room. No Anne. Yell her name about 5 times. Go back in our room and wake up Troy. By this time I'm shaking like a leaf. Run in the toy room. Not there. By this time I'm just yelling her name and starting to cry. I run upstairs to see if she woke up and went to sleep up there for some reason. Not up there. A thousand things are running through my head by this time. I'm trying to figure out how the hell the alarm didn't go off if someone came in the house or she went out the door. Did I leave a window open? When was the last time I checked her last night? What the hell am I going to do? Should I go drive around the neighborhood? So I start running down the stairs and I'm crying, getting ready to call the police when all the sudden I hear her yell from behind the couch "I tricked you!!". She looked so proud of herself. Honestly, I have never been so happy and so mad at the same time in all of my life. I could barely even talk. Half of me wanted to hug her and the other half wanted to strangle her. It was horrible. For about 3 minutes I had no idea where my daugther was and was assuming someone had come in and taken her. I've never had so many things run though my head at one time. On the way to school, I told her how upset I was and that I was really afraid she was lost and I was crying. She felt really bad and said she was just trying to trick me. She promised she would never do it again and told me she was very sorry for making me cry. I swear to God, she better NEVER do that to me again.

Somehow she talked me into it... I'm still not sure how she did it, but Anne got me in the pool tonight! I said I wasn't getting in until we got the heater going but it really wasn't too bad. It was our first time to swim at night with the cool lights. Anne spent most of the afternoon/evening in and out of the pool. She is such a little fish.

Sick of pool pictures yet? I promise I will lay off the pool pictures very soon. I just had to get a few shots of Daddy's first day in the pool too! It's way too cold for me right now so I just sit and supervise!

The big day... The girls had their suits on and were patiently waiting for the pool guys to finish up with the chemicals. After they dumped in the last of the stuff, he told them they had to wait 20 minutes before they could get in. I think it was the longest 20 minutes of their lives! :) They swam for about an hour or so until the pool was totally out of the sun. Then it got cold pretty quickly and they both came out. We can't use the heater for 2 weeks so it's going to be pretty chilly for a while. But they had a great time and can't wait to get back in tomorrow!

First official jump!

Poor Rudy. He wasn't sure about all of this. He just couldn't lay down while they were in there. He is going to wear himself out!

Just 30 days... 30 days ago they started digging our pool! We were so happy to see the guy stick the hose in the pool and start filling it up this afternoon. The girls couldn't wait to get in! Tomorrow they will come and add chemicals so we won't be swimming tomorrow but hopefully the weather will nice this weekend and the girls can jump right in!

They were most impressed by the cool color changing light! It goes from pink to green to blue.

So proud... Anne was so excited to be able to wear her whole Brownie uniform to her meeting tonight! She looked so darn cute!

And of course Allison wanted to be a girl scout too so Anne told her she could wear her old Daisy shirt from last year! Now she is a Brownie too!

Pool Update... WOO HOO! They are moving so fast on this! It hasn't even been a month yet and they just finished the deck on Thursday! All they have left to do is the inside and hopefully that will be done by next week! Troy is working now on getting the fence back up and yard put back together. I can't wait to have it all done!

Allison and Megan...
The poor girls spend so much time at the ball field while their big sisters play baseball. They have to come up with all sorts of fun ways to entertain themselves!

Holly's 4th birthday... We went to Holly's birthday party at Pump It Up last night! The kids jumped their little hearts out and then enjoyed pizza, cake, and ice cream afterwards. They all had a great time! Happy 4th Birthday Sweet Holly!

More pictures from our trip to Gammer's... We had a great time in Atlanta last weekend. Kim, Chelsea, and I had a good time shopping and getting our nails done while Gammer entertained the girlies. The weather was really nice so the girls helped Gammer with her outside decorations and then we all met up at Kim's house for dinner. It was a quick trip but lots of fun!

After about 5 minutes of pictures, Allison was growing tired of posing.

I mean like really tired of it.

Like run away into the woods tired of it. She is such a punk.
