Merry Christmas...I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! We sure did here at our house. The girls came in and woke us up around 7:00 a.m. which was great! They were so excited to see that Santa had come! We opened our gifts, ate way too much monkey bread, played outside with all their new stuff most of the day, I got my tree and decorations down and my house put back together, we had a nice dinner out, played a few games of Clue Jr, and just had a really nice day. It was the perfect Christmas for us! I hope you all had the perfect Christmas too!

"SANTA CAME, SANTA CAME!"

They opened their stocking stuff while Troy and I got ourselves together.
A new Judy Moody book!

Santa brought Rudy a stocking too!

Allison was most excited about the pack of Pop Rocks. She is easy to please.

Okay, stockings are done, still waiting on Mom and Dad!

Lord, I can practically see her tonsils!

Smiling with Daddy.

New rollerblades! yeah!

So excited about her Easy Bake Oven. She has been wanting one of those for months!

Mommy and her girls! See my new pretty necklace? I love it! Daddy and the girls did a great job picking it out!

Giving Rudy a treat to keep him out of our hair! He was in the middle of everything!Allison is showing him her new jammies. He was thrilled.

Anne's new Killer's t-shirt!

My little baker waiting for her oven to preheat.

The next Martha Stewart.

Anne waiting patiently for her teeny tiny sliver of Easy Bake oven cake.

Getting ready to take it out!

Allison playing her new Wii minigolf game! It's 2:00 pm and the Christmas stuff is already down. That's a new record for me! :)

Off we go to try out the new rollerblades. Help us!

They actually did really well. Allison caught on to it really fast...Anne took a little while longer. She isn't as gung ho about stuff if it involves even the slightest chance of falling down and getting hurt.

Rudy watching the action and enjoying the warm sun. It must have been at least 80 degrees outside today.

Moving right along!

Trying out their new sidewalk painting. They turned the sidewalk into a little road complete with stop signs and stores.

It cracks me up when he lays with his back legs like that. He is a good watch doggie! :)

Working hard!

Anne loved her new book so much she just couldn't put it down to eat dinner!

These books are hysterical! I can hear Anne laughing from across the house when she reads them.

Me and Punker at dinner.

Christmas Eve 2008... The girls were so excited that Christmas Eve was finally here! We spent Christmas Eve with some good friends from Anne's softball team and we had a great time. We started out at Coach Sam's house for dinner and a few drinks and then loaded everyone up in the trucks to drive around the neighborhood singing Christmas carols and enjoying the lights. Anne and Allison thought it was greatest thing ever. We all thought we spotted Rudolph's nose while we were out riding around so we had to rush home to get to bed! :)

Writing their notes to Santa!

Allison should have thought of writing this stuff out about a month ago. Little late now!

Anne's note cracks me up!

Getting ready to head out.

They were actually pretty nice to each other all day! Oh the Christmas spirit!

Tracking Santa on Norad. That site is the best thing ever.

Anna B, Allison, Carlie, and Anne. Look at those smiles. They were so excited!

Enjoying dinner before we left.

The adults enjoying a little time at the Tiki Hut before heading out.

Loading up the trucks. That got a bit crazy.

Jackson singing his heart out!

The girls all wanted to cram together in one truck.

Their final gift from the Advent Calendar. Glitter body spray...what a great idea...

Opening their one gift on Christmas Eve.

Nice, soft, warm robes...too bad it was like 80 degrees outside.

Setting out the cookies, milk, and their notes to Santa. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Rock climbing party...Anne was invited to a rock climbing birthday party last week at the YMCA and she had a blast! She was a little nervous and it took a few tries but she finally made it all the way to the top! She can't wait to do it again. Because we are members, we can go and do it for free! I had no idea. Allison says she isn't so sure she wants to try it but I'm sure we could talk her into it.

Anne and her best friend Carlie getting geared up for their climb.

And off she goes!

Getting past the ledge was the hardest part for her.

Yeah! She is almost there.

Way to go Anne!

Cruising down was the best part.
