Allison's graduation...I still can't believe she is done with preschool. She had her graduation ceremony today and it was so sweet. The kids did such a great job! She looked so adorable in her cap and gown and so grown up. As exciting as it is to be moving on to this new chapter in our lives, it's still hard for me to know my last one is moving on to kindergarten. Even when Anne was moving on, I knew she was always still a mommy's girl and didn't stray too far from my side. Allison is so independent, feisty, and ready to take on the world. It's bittersweet for me to watch. She is very excited to be going to kindergarten (minus the homework part...uh oh...) and can't wait to be in the same school as her big sister. Congratulations Allison! We are so proud of you!

I started tearing up as soon as I opened the program. I had to call Troy and tell him to bring some tissue.

Daddy and Granddaddy waiting for it to start.

Doing the pledge. They did so good and said it loud enough for everyone to hear.

Punker.

Acting like a nut in front of the entire school!

Getting her diploma!

She did it!!!

Allison with her teachers. Allison had the same teacher that Anne had. She was so wonderful! We are really going to miss her. I wish we could just bottle her up and take her with us to kindergarten.

Celebrating with her friends.

The sun was right in her eyes and she didn't like it one bit.

She was so happy that Granddaddy came to watch too!

My big girl!

YUM! Daddy got a cake to celebrate!

Here is a little montage of the ceremony. Allison is in the back row. Honestly, I don't think there is anything sweeter than little kids singing "God Bless America".

End of the Year Red Hots Party...The Red Hots had their end of the year party on Sunday and everyone had a great time! We will miss everyone over the summer but will enjoy having some time away from the ballpark for awhile. My team manager gift included a case of Corona so needless to say, I didn't spend much time taking pictures. :) But here a few that Troy got for me.

Dancing in the Streets... The girls love Dancing in the Streets because it's the only time they get to see Daddy's band. They had a good time dancing with their friends and playing in the back of Daddy's truck.

Waiting for the band to start.

They are so cool.

Allison and Mommy.

They all sat up on the stage for awhile. They thought that was pretty darn cool.

Dancing in the truck.

Wiped out!! They both spent all day in the sun and all night dancing and running around like nuts.

A day at the beach...Allison and I had a great time out at the beach with Aunt Traci, Holly, and Bop. Anne had a birthday party so we headed out there for lunch and some fun on the beach! The girls had a great time playing in the waves and their great little tide pool. Two boys caught a few fish and put them in their little pool so they thought that was super cool! They stayed so busy that it was almost like old times for Traci and I! We actually got to sit on the beach and chat!

Happy girls!

Catching some rays in the pool.

Riding the waves!

Boppers!

Getting ready to pack it up. Nobody wanted to leave!

Allison was sound asleep within 2 minutes. She wore herself out.

Ladybugs team party... Softball season has come to an end! The Ladybugs had their team party at Ollie Koala's yesterday and the girls had a great time. Of course, the highlight of the party was getting their big trophies! Allison was thrilled when she saw it! She had a great first season of t-ball and can't wait to play again in the fall.

Getting her trophy! Her coach told her she could swing a bat harder than any five year old he ever met. She thought that was pretty cool.

I think I'm going to have my hands full with her... Here is a conversation I had with Allison this afternoon.

Me: Come on Allison, we need to go pick up Anne.
Allison: I don't want to go. Can I just stay here?
Me: No, Daddy isn't home. You can't stay here by yourself.
Allison: I promise I won't throw a party or anything.
Me: What?
Allison: It's not like I'll throw a party just when you are getting Anne.

Oh my gosh, she is only FIVE!

Happy Mother's Day... I hope you had a great day Mom! Sorry we couldn't be together. We couldn't ask for a better Mom and Gammer! We love you!

Daddy is so proud... Me? Not so much. Allison has inherited Troy's spit trick ability. She has been perfecting her craft and has had a few slips here and there (which totally gross me out) but I guess it's all part of the learning process.

Anne's first home run...Anne had her very first home run this week (off a bunt...go figure). I don't think I've ever seen her that excited in her entire life. I actually teared up a bit. She had the perfect bunt, the catcher overthrew to first, and then Anne just took off running. I've never seen her run the bases that fast in her life. She made it across home plate with the biggest smile on her face. It was so sweet. Her team was cheering her on and her good friend Carlie came out and picked her up and carried her to the dug out. Anne came running out to the bleachers just beaming.

All smiles!

Being goofy after the game.

Her Explosion team had their last tournament last weekend. They had a great season! They lost a few games played really well and Anne learned so much playing with this team.

Carnival fun... The girls and I met the Lofton clan out at the carnival last Friday! We all had Jiffy feet by the time we left and spent waaaayyyy too much money but the kids had a blast!
