Happy Halloween... The girls jumped right out of bed this morning! They were so excited about Halloween. They both had school parties today and then couldn't wait to get home to go trick or treating.

Anne's school party

Anne and her teacher and her AWARD WINNING pumpkin! They gave out 4 awards: scariest, cutest, funniest, and most original. Her teacher handed out the scariest, funniest, and cutest and I could see Anne's shoulders slumping down more and more with each award. Then her teacher saved the most original for last and called out Anne's name! She bolted out of her desk with the biggest smile on her face! She was so proud of herself! I was so happy for her because her pumpkin was one of the only ones that looked like she actually did it and she wrote such an awesome story to go along with it. Some of the them were super cute but it was obvious the parents did most of the work. So she was happy to win that one!
