4th of July weekend with Gammer and Bumpa...We were so happy that Gammer and Bumpa came down to spend 4th of July with us! We had such a great time with them here! The weather was great and we had lots of time in the pool and at the beach...and Troy and Bumpa never even complained once!

We went out to dinner at Singleton's the night they got here. Troy and Gammer had their annual oyster appetizer...yick.

We walked down to our community pool to sit and watch all the neighborhood fireworks. They do some really good fireworks and none of us felt like packing up and heading downtown after a long day in the sun. This worked out perfectly!



After we put the girls to bed, we got down to serious business. We have had our ongoing "Girls against Guys" spades tournament for a few years now. We usually only get to play a few times a year but we always have a great time. Mom and I were on fire that weekend and just killed those poor little boys. I think we are now up by 3 games!

The next day we headed out early to enjoy a day at the beach. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the beach, the pool, and a nice lunch.
