Girls on the Run...Anne and I had her big 5k run this Saturday and she did awesome! She is part of the Girls on the Run team at her school and they have been training for this 5k since the end of September. They have been meeting twice a week after school to train. Saturday was their big event and it was so much fun! I was Anne's running buddy so I got to do it with her and I'm so glad I did. It was really amazing to see all these 3rd-5th grade girls out there running a 5k and doing so well. Anne really enjoyed the season and plans to sign up again in the spring. I am so proud of her! Way to go Anne!

Me and my girl. I was so proud of her. She walked a bit but ran it for the most part. She was pretty tired toward the last 1/2 mile but she kept trying to push herself to finish strong. She did so great!
